I am Maestra Moran and this is my ninth year teaching at Mistral. I was born in Mexico, and I was raised in San Jose, California. I attended San Jose State University, and I received a Bachelors degree in Liberal Studies and a minor in Child Development. I enjoy working at Mistral because I get the opportunity to work with students from many backgrounds. These are some of the things I enjoy doing in my spare time: I enjoy reading, going on hikes, working out, listening to music in Spanish, and love going to concerts.
My students think I am funny and nice.
One of the most important things for me as a teacher is to create a safe learning environment in my classroom. Students who come to my classroom will feel safe, will take risks, and will be enthusiastic about coming to school.
My homework policy: It is very important that the students read every day for at least 20 minutes. Students should also complete a math packet that is sent home on a weekly basis.
The best way to get in touch with me is:
