Ms. Claudia Olaciregui is the principal of Gabriela Mistral Elementary.
She was born and raised in Barranquilla, Colombia and moved to San Jose in August 2000 to work as a cultural exchange teacher with the San Jose Unified School District. She later joined the Sunnyvale School District where she worked as a teacher an English Language Development Coach. In 2014, she became a principal of Morgan Hill’s Dual Immersion School and Environmental Science Academy.
Her professional experience includes over 26 years of teaching, coaching, leading and research in the integration of technology in education with the Stanford School of Education. She has a Master’s in Instructional Technology, Master’s in Clinical Psychology, Bachelor’s in Science-Psychology and Bachelor’s of Arts-Education from San Jose State University.
