MVWSD Parent University

Mountain View Parent U is a series of District-offered parent workshops designed to address interests, issues or concerns of parents with children of all ages, backgrounds and educational status.

The workshops provide a venue for parents to meet other parents with similar interests and to share challenges and successes with others in a positive and nonthreatening environment.

Provided at many workshops (check details on each): Spanish interpretation and child care. Doors open at 6 p.m. Come early to connect with resources!

Mistral holds an annual series for parents on topics relevant to English learners. Along with strategies specifically for English Learners, our parents learn a great deal about helpful strategies in general for literacy, math and more. Childcare is provided.
